Photography (is that a craft?), embroidery, quilting, crochet, stained glass....... Just inherited my mother's Singer Featherweight - how cool is that!

I teach 8th grade math in a small, rural Missouri school. I have a 23-year old son, a grand-dog, a husband and an assortment of other "animals". I'll be 50 in 2 years (soooooooo looking forward to THAT). I love reading blogs - I have about 50 on my rss feed. I have a few good friends but lots of friendly acquaintances. I love purple, orange, blue and green but will wear any color except yellow. How's that for a random collection of "facts" LOL

Love the retro stuff, especially from my youth (late 60's, 70's) that turquoise blue, orange, yellow, and that kitchy kitchen stuff from the 50's - especially the reds!

I've seen other people do this and I think it's a good idea, so here goes (and I'm sure it will be an ever-changing thing so check back) LIKES AtoZ A - antiques, animals, apples (granny smith only) asparagus (fresh, not canned), ARKANSAS (woooooo pig, sooie) B - barefoot, boardgames C - cats, crochet, camping, candy, CHOCOLATE, coffee (flavored and Starbucks white mocha), cold weather, caves, cake, card games, crickets chirping D - Digby (my granddog), Dillon (my son) dogs, doughnuts (the plain, glazed kind like you can get at WalMart - HATE Krispy Kreme) E - ephimera, embroidery F - flea markets, fossils, frogs (especially the tree frogs at night), forsythia, G - green, grass (LOVE walking barefoot in/on it, love smelling it, especially after a fresh mowing) H - historical fiction, hiking I - J - junk shopping, jam(homemade), jonquils K - L - learning, ladybugs M - music N - nature O - P - photography, paper (I'm a hoarder) Q - quilts R - rocks, rain, S - shells, snow days, T - tulips U - V - W - X - y - yellow (it's the first color we see in Spring around here)
