Up dated 11/11/15 I am a mother of four wonderful children, eight grand-children, and four greats. I live in a small community somewhere in the mountains of North Carolina. I work part-time when I can doing private bookkeeping. I have recently had some medical problems and am unable to get out much. However I am a long time crafter and now that I have some time on my hands am looking forward to getting back into it. Please forgive my hand writing I am working to get back the use of my hand.I love family and everything it stands for.

Although I haven't done much for the last few years, I have continued to collect. I have an entire building dedicated to my crafting supplies. Everything from miscellaneous board game pieces, puzzles, blingss, buttons, etc... You name it I probably have it. I have a weakness for crafting supplies and ideas and find myself getting excited about most of everything I see or read about. I then aquire supplies for these projects so when I have time I learn something new.Since joining swap-bot I have become addicted to ATC's and all supplies needed to make them. I have also been introduced to Washi and am on a mission to acquire as many different designs as I can.

I am really excited to add to my profile a new venture. After hosting my first swap for post card pen pals and receiving such wonderful feedback, I have decided to start a blog. My web site is up and running judyreddix.com and I am adding to it as I can. I am learning about all this so please bare with me. Along with the blog I am working on my own line of post cards.Postcardpenpals.com is under construction and my first post card order is in. Living where I do it is hard to find post cards and impossible to find special ones. Swap bot has played such an important part of my rehab since my illness 2 years ago, the swaps have kept me busy mentally and the work and challenges have kept my hands working. Some days it is still hard to get out of bed, but I work everyday to stay on top of things.

Coffee, the color blue, anything fun, cats, giraffes, exotic places and people, small trinkets, crafts from other people for ideas, anything creative, collectables, small figurines, paintings, angels, fairies and mystical little creatures.I love, love ,love flea markets,yard sales and thrift stores where I have been luckey enough to get a lot of crafting ideas and supplies.

I live close to a few of my grandchildren, the others live in Ohio. But the two granddaughters that live near me are Destiny, 18 and Sara, 13. They are enjoying this swapping as much as I am. My oldest loves to read and so she loves cool and intriguing bookmarks from all over. My thirteen year old loves tea bags of all kinds. She has a box FULL. She also enjoys all the different stamps. Since my original profile our Destiny has graduated high school, we are so proud. She will be off to collage in the fall, but says she will be a poor college kid can't afford stamps to swap. I guess gmastubby will have to send care packages, she is always picking up post cards and goodies for me and her Mother, also a swapper, so I know she would enjoy her own account. Update 11/11/15 Destiny is now going to be 20 home from school and managing her own Subway store. Sara is now 15 working and driving. Where does the time go?

I enjoy reading when I have the time. I read crime mystery and drama. I have a first generation Kendal nothing special just books. I also have about 200 books from b4 kendall. I love little books, meaning thin, old books and poetry.

I watch just about anything but especially crime drama ie CSI,Castle,Law and order (all of them),Mentalist,Criminal minds for just a few. I have recently been stuck on food and cooking.shows.I love love love Big Brother and have been a fan since season 4. Since my recent hospital adventure (lol) my days and nights are mixed up and I find myself up all night most night. I am so excited about this site I think it will be a life changing experience for me at this time.

I enjoy all music except hard rock only because I can not understand it,although some of it does have a good beat and I have always loved to dance but am at the toe tapping stage now. Although I have not bought anything recently most of what I own is country and blue grass.

I have a 7 year blind since birth cat. My husband and I have rescued 2 dogs and another cat that we have lost in the past two years. A 16 year old beagle doxy mix, a 14 year old jack russell and a 13 year old mix (humane society) cat. They were family and missed. In other words I love animals .Update 11/11/15 My little Dudley is now 9 and has heart problems. He is a pretty sick little boy and I am worried about him. scheduled for tests next week and then some decisions will need to be made.

What gives me the warm fuzzies: Paper (any size shape or color), stickers, vintage, victorian, steampunk, decorative tape, animals, shabby chic, lace, buttons, trim of any kind, anything from your junk drawer(we all have one). I am an old soul. I know there is more and will add as I think of them but I think you can get a good idea of my special likes from this list.I have decided to collect collages and university post cards from all over the world so any would be very loved.
