hello, I'm into all things crafty and love to keep busy making little things in front of the telly! I like chocolate, my garden, baking, trees, and the colours green, brown and pink. i really like spirals and stars, glitter and sparkles, scallops, flourishes, cupcakes, birds and cats. I have a funny grey rescue cat called Pippin and I live in the UK with my gorgeous hubby and kids, age 5 and 7.

Things I would Like to swap: velvet ricrac, spotty ribbon, buttons, cute or quirky fat quarters, spotty fabric flowers, japanese inspired things, patterned or muted coloured felt, plushies, bags and zip pouches, especially hand made, kawaii stuff, and things inspired by my Etsy wishlist.

I'm into scrapbooking, card making, paper and felt things, a bit of hand sewing and lots of cute mini albums. I'm inspired by shimelle, somerset studios, paper artsy, two peas in a bucket. i've enjoyed making dotty dollies, felt brooches, felt cakes, atcs, stamped items, hand made cards, inchies, vintage style stuff, circle journals and altered things for swapping through a uk scrapbooking forum i belong to.

local radio every morning until it annoys me, then dd's pop cds or something more relaxing - classical or madonna or cold play

I'm in a reading group which means i get to read books that i haven't chosen! recently i have enjoyed 'never let me go' by kasuo ishiguro, 'notes on a scandal' by zoe heller, and 'case histories' by kate atkinson. i loved 'lovely bones', 'time travellers wife' and 'atonement' too.

i love reality tv like big brother, x factor, britain's got talent, and any light saturday night gameshow type of thing! i also like 'gavin and stacey' and anything wildlife with david attenborough.

all the harry potters, all the star wars, amelie, funny films like meet the fockers, monty python, princess bride, love actually.

Please don't send anything which smells of smoke. I would prefer not to receive anything which is related to religion, blood, vampires, heavy metal, disney ( i like disney but prefer not to receive this thru a swap), nudity, babies. Thank you.
