Quilting and sewing- I have been officially quilting for the past 10 years, but I have always been sewing forever. I've made quilts for my kids and have to make 1 for each of my grandkids.
Crocheting and knitting- I am much better at crocheting. To me it seems to go much faster. I have knitted several scarves for friends.
Natural crafts-I have made cornhusk dolls and taught students how to make them. I like working with any natural materials.I like to collect items when I'm out on a hike with the kids.
Papercrafts-My daughter has just about all the paper that I need to make cards and such. Well she actually makes more than I do. I just go and help with the assemblage after she has it all ready to assemble.
Doodling- I've been doodling for ever, but just found out it can be artistic. Go figure!
Coloring-I've always liked to color, but now there are adult coloring books. Yippee!
I like country music. I do like the 50's also.
Right now I'm reading books from Marie Bostwick. Any book that sounds interesting I will try.
I just learned about swap bot a couple months ago when I did the Farmer's Wife 1930's swap. I may be hooked.
I live in rural Wisconsin. I retired this year from driving school bus after 26 years. I was also a special education assistant for 16 years. I have 3 grown children and 4 grand children. My husband is also retired. We've been busy with the grand kids.
I also enjoy hunting and fishing. My girlfriends and I go fishing in Canada every year.
We have done historical reenacting when our kids were younger. You meet many unique individuals doing this, and learn a lot about US history.
My favorite colors are blues, greens. reds, and browns. I like: Outdoors. Pretty sunsets. Handmade things
