I am 39 and work in the legal field. I live in Jacksonville, Florida. I have two kids, 10 years apart, with distinctly different personalities.

I spend my spare time reading, knitting, spinning and crocheting. I occasionally get time in to sew but rarely.

Favorite music is primarily alternative music, like Tool, Chevelle and Kings of Leon along with old school rock like Led Zep and Aerosmith.

I enjoy reading vampire and supernatural fiction, such as Laurell K. Hamilton. I also am working my way through the Lemony Snickett books and the Harry Potter books.

Spinning has become a new love. I managed to stay away from spinning for several years - although I have been knitting for 15 years.

Colors I love....wow, that is really a hard one because I have found that in the last 3-4 years, my tastes have really changed. For example, I used to hate oranges, greens and yellows and now I have found quite a few that I really like.

I love deep, royal reds and purples. I really like blurple but am not such a fan of blues as a whole. I hate kelly green. I love black and white and pink (from pale pink to hot pink - they are all awesome).

Fiber choices: I have only worked with wool and a bit of mohair and silk but nothing outside of that so I am unable to really say whether I dislike a particular fiber or not.

Extras: I drink mad amounts of coffee (much to the distress of my doctor....) but am not too fond of flavored coffee beans or grounds. I don't drink tea much living in Florida. I do like powdered drinks (singles that would be dumped into water) but only the ones made with Splenda.

Candy and nuts and the like are always appreciated. wink I have no food allergies.
