The best person in my life is Ben. He is my cute husband. We met at college (BYU), dated for a few months and got married in the summer of 2012 in the LDS Manti Utah Temple. It was the perfect day.

I'm a college student at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I'm studying Research Communications, and I'll be graduating in 2014.

My hometown is Garden Grove, California. It's about 5 minutes away from Disneyland (also known as the most AMAZING PLACE ON EARTH). Speaking of Disneyland, I love it more than anything (except my wonderful husband). Yes, we went to Disneyland on our honeymoon.

My family is from Nayarit, Mexico. I love it there! It has the most beautiful beaches. My family is really full of culture and life. There is never a dull moment when my family gathers together.

I have one older sister, Danielle. She is married and has a beautiful baby daughter. She is also studying at BYU, so I get to see her often. My little brother, Gus, is putting college on hold for 2 years to serve a Mormon mission in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He is doing great and having a wonderful time.

I love writing, reading, sending, and receiving cards. I'd like to get better at making homemade cards, but for now, I'll keep practicing.

I love to play, watch, and read about basketball. My college team is BYU and my NBA team is Los Angeles Lakers.

My favorite colors are yellow and pink! Yellow is such a happy color - sunflowers, sunshine, and of course, it's a Laker color! Pink is just a cute and chic color. Both, together, make a great match!

I am in love with hamburgers! That is my absolute favorite food. My favorite restaurant is Red Robin. I usually get a Whiskey River BBQ burger with bottom-less fries and bottom-less strawberry freckled lemonade. This makes me very happy.

One of my life goals is to see all 50 states! I've got a few done - California, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Iowa, Arkansas, Missouri, and Illinois. I've got a ton more to go!

I also want to travel to as many foreign countries as possible. I've only done two - Mexico and China. Growing up, my family would visit Mexico every summer. It was always the highlight of the year. Months after I got married, my husband and I moved to China. We had a blast! It was the most amazing experience ever! We got to see many historic and tourist sites like the Great Wall, but also rural areas that captured real life in China.

Whenever we travel, even if it's an hour away, we try to collect postcards. I would love to receive postcards from your hometown, traveled places, or any postcards from your favorite places!

I'd like to say I'm a total craft-junky, but I'm not. It's not that I don't like it, but I just don't have it. As a Communications major, I'm better at digital art. If you receive a card from me, it's likely that it'll be computer-designed or store-bought, rarely homemade. I try my best to make things appealing to the eye. I will never send a card with plain black ink. Cards should be happy, and for that, I add drawings, color, stickers, and anything else that will take the boring away. I'd like to see cards like that in my mailbox, too! I appreciate the slightest effort to make it visually appealing.

I don't care how you make it, but don't send me a boring card. I like to keep and collect cards; don't make me throw yours away.

All of this sounds so picky, but in reality, this is just something that should be fun! I'm so excited to see cards in my mailbox!
