Hi! I'm Alex (she/her) a 24-year-old pen paler from Ontario, Canada. I started penpaling early lockdown last year when I wanted to connect with people from around the world, in a time when not much connecting was happening. I then found the penpal community on Instagram and fell even deeper into the rabbit hole. Right now I work in accessibility in the federal government and I hope to study critical disability studies in the future to get a Masters and PhD. In school I studied journalism and professional writing. I love reading and writing, I'm a bit of a comedy nerd, I love Disney and Broadway and also I'm really into indoor plants. I have a little black fluffy kitten named Marty (feel free to guess the comedy reference).

My newest favourite shows of the season are Shmigadoon and Ted Lasso.

Some of my classic faves are: - The Good Place (my #1 fave show) - How I Met Your Mother (this is the show I'll re-watch over and over) - Dr. Who (the 10th Dr. was my first and therefore fave) - W1A (love me a British satire)

I don't know why but birds kinda freak me out, so if possible please avoid bird themed-items when swapping with me.
