I have a small flock of 4 ducks -- 2 Cayugas (Raven and Luna) and 2 Welsh Harlequins (Bea and Gracie). I am an activist in independent politics, working to reform and open up the democratic process. Avid letter writer, reader of books, collector of fountain pens. Love owls, birds of all kinds. Love postage stamps, often use vintage ones in sending mail.

Tough one, I read several books a month and read across lots of genres.Belong to Austin Kleon's Literati book club -- great selections on creative process. Harry Potter series, The books of Geraldine Brooks. Jon Katz's books on living with dogs (the best!!), poetry--Neruda, haiku, Sharon Olds, Mary Oliver, Ted Kooser.
