About Me

I am a newly graduated Licensed Practical Nurse, and I'm really excited about my new career!

My two favorite hobbies are scrapbooking and quilting, but I'm also learning how to knit and crochet! I also love travel, reading, and would love to have a book published someday. I am an animal lover, and hope to one day own an English Bulldog (my favorite of all dogs). :-)

I'm also obsessed with Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, which a friend got me into back in October of 2007. My favorite scents tend to be more "food-y", and "spicy".

Favorite Books

I love fantasy/adventure books, so some of my recently reads include His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman, the Harry Potter books, Dragon's Keep, Inkheart, and the Princess Academy.

I'm also anxiously awaiting the 3rd book in the Inheritance Trilogy to come out.

Favorite Television

The Simpsons, Scrubs, House, Sex & the City, Grey's Anatomy, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Futurama, and Project Runway.

Favorite Crafts

Scrapbooking & Quilting. For Christmas last year, my mom gave me a quilt that I had made the top for about 10 years ago; and then she and my grandma finished it, so now I have a quilt that 3 generations worked on to complete!
