About me? I'm a long distance runner, love the outdoors, use a MAC, work out a few times a week, hate swimming...my fave animal is the elephant. i stay up way too late and have a hard time getting up in the morning. i collect postcards, have lived in a bunch of cities, a bunch of states, several countries and several different continents. i love a cold winter and a warm summer. i'm single, love hats and headwraps even though my hair is growing back after losing it from cancer treatment. oh, and i LOVE piglet - so much i even have a huge piglet tattoo on my side! i am not musical, but i love music. i listen to anything and everything and love making cd's for people of my favourite songs/artists. i'm not a great photographer, but i'm learning. i love dogs, am learning to like cats and basically i'm just a relaxed chill person!

music? right now i'm listening to jann arden. i like leona lewis, lily allen, agustana, duffy, reba mcentire, sheryl crow (her newer stuff), gwen stefani, natasha bedingfield, buckcherry, john mayer and adore maroon 5!

i love clothes - new clothes, old clothes...especially jeans! i make them my own. i like recycling! did i mention that I LOVE JEANS??? (size 2, if it matters, but i have no problem ripping apart seams and making them into purses, shorts, skirts or jeans you wouldn't even recognise anymore!) i don't know how to crochet, but i'm always willing to learn new things. beginner kits are always welcome! i also love to cook and welcome favourite recipes, mixes or even dinner ideas!

First off, I have celiac disease. This means that my body cannot process gluten, which is found in wheat, rye, barley and oats. I do not, however, expect anyone to look for certain gluten free products or be able to know if a product does or does not contain this sticky protein. I am much more of a salt fan, but I do sometimes crave sugar! i hate salmon. (i know, random).

in my spare time, i enjoy spending time at the gym, shopping, travelling, running, watching movies, reading, IMing, doing puzzles and hanging out with friends!

Well, the dreaded sizes box. I wear a size 7 or 7.5 shoe. In jeans (and most clothes) I vary from a 2 to a 4, so an XS or S, depending on brand. The only colour flip flop I don't really dig is...wait, I've never met a flop I didn't like!!! In fact, I adore flops!

Let's see...my family. My Mum is a part time teacher - anywhere from 1st to 5th grade depending on the school year. She and my Dad (who is retired and has been for 11 years) love to travel and do it quite frequently. Mum is an avid reader and love to shop and Dad is a photographer. They both like movies, going out to dinner and like I said, travelling. I have an older brother who is a football coach at a junior college. He loves anything sports related at all.

Okay, onto the other things. I'm not a Mum, but I am a caretaker, who does it professionally and full time. I have two munchkins - one (Ally) with special needs (who loves water sports and soccer) and the other who is so much like me it's almost scary. Katie is 11 and is not into sports at all. She loves to read, adores Hannah Montana, HSM, the Jonas Bros, and iCarly. She likes clothes and wears a girls XL or a women's XS. She is not into pink at all. She loves loves loves anything sugary and especially chocolate. She is learning to cook and enjoys it. Katie helps me alot with swaps and loves to see the mail I receive. I would love for her to be included in some swaps that are "daughter-related" as I am her closest mother figure.
