Hello!

My name is Catherine and I am new to the world of swaps. I would like to start making and trading ATC's to share with the world!

I have many interests, though I don't seem to practice enough at any one thing to be excellent at it.

Also note that I am shipping from Canada so what I send might take longer to arrive!

My favourite artists include: Caravan Palace, Gold Panda, Mindless Self Indulgence, The Mars Volta, The Beatles, Kap Slap, Kain, Rage Against The Machine, Pantha Du Prince.

I do like most types of music but I find it difficult to find an artist that I can listen to and like all of their songs. Some other genres I like include acid jazz, hip hop, happy hardcore, hardstyle, pop, rock.

Some of my favourite recent reads include: The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (Series), The Vagina Monologues, Fight Club

I used to read much more in high school than I do now. I went through a phase in the past couple of years where I felt out of place and I wasn't very much interested in reading (among other things) at all. Also, since then, my taste in books has changed, so I don't really have any favourite books from high school.

Honestly, as of late the reading I have been most interested in has been sociological journals or texts. I love reading about the state of the world, and I love analyses of culture. I am studying sociology right now and have found that I am truly passionate about it, and so even my recreational reading is usually sociological.

Knitting, painting, sticking stickers on various objects (if you can consider that a craft)

I like underwater themed things, futuristic things, architecture, neon colours, kids/childish things, clocks, stairs, octopus, tiaras

I work with kids, and they have inspired me to be creative. Some kids will draw picture after picture after picture, (and some of them draw their pictures and give them to me >:D) as if their ideas never exhaust. I strive to be able to be like that. I am no longer a blank slate and have a hard time coming up with new ideas! For that reason, I like anything out of the ordinary.
