About Me
My name is Sonya and I live on the central coast of California. I love living on the coast the weather pretty much stays the same. I live just a few minutes away from the ocean. I am the mom to 2 adult sons and to my cat Bella and small dog Holley who is a Jack Russell Terrier.
I love to do swaps and recently found swap-bot. This site was just what I was looking for. I have always loved to get mail and getting and sending swaps makes it feel like Christmas all year long.
Before leaving a bad rating please let me know if you didn't receive a swap from me. I will gladly resend it. I send all of my swaps off on time.

Favorite Music
I love country music. I like to listen to Keith Urban, Josh Turner, Kenny Chesney, and Blake Shelton and Trace Atkins. The one non-country group that I have loved for years is Bon Jovi.
Favorite Books
I love to read. My favorite books are mysteries and crime/detective books. I have also enjoyed reading autobiographies. I also like to read children/teenager chapter books. I will give any book a try because you never know if your going to like it.
Favorite Movies
I'm not really a big movie watcher. I am a really big fan of the classic movies of the 40's and 50's and 60's I love all of the Disney movies of the 1960's.
Favorite Television
I love a lot of the prime time shows. Survivor, Amazing Race, America's Got Talent, Dancing with the Stars, and Criminal Minds. I am also a big sitcom fan and love the classic sitcoms. I Love Lucy, Dick Van Dyke Show, The Andy Griffith Show, The Brady Bunch, Full House, the list goes on and on.
My Cat and Dog
Bella is my baby. I adopted her from my local animal shelter when she was 3 months old. She has brought a lot of fun and enjoyment into my life. Bella loves to play with catnip toys, little balls, any toy with feathers. She loves anything she can pounce on or chase. She also loves to cuddle and would love some little cat sized blankets. She loves any of the cat treats. She is so much fun!
Holley is a new addition to my family. She is a very fun and loving dog. She loves to play with small squeak toys, small balls and rope type toys. She loves to lay on blankets. She would love small dog blankets. Holley has really added enjoyment.
Likes/Wishlist
I like to scrapbook and love to use embellishments,stickers, buttons, ribbons,beads and flowers (any colors) for my projects. I like to use bic markers or sharpie markers (any color). I like to crochet and love to use 4 ply yarn, baby yarn and crochet cotton thread. I make a variety of things so I use any colors I can get. I also like to cross stitch. I like to do the little mini kits to make ornaments.
For Swap Supplies: I can always use Swap Cards, address labels, pens and index cards.
I love Halloween and Christmas! Things I enjoy on Halloween are: black cats, pumpkins, candy corn and anything handmade. Things I enjoy on Christmas are: Santa, snowmen, angels, snowflakes, ornaments, cinnamon candy canes and anything handmade.
I love to read. I enjoy mysteries, crime and detective novels. I don't really have a favorite author.
I like the color blue (any shade) and the color pink (any shade), purple is a good color too.
I love Avon eyeliners and mascara (blues and blacks), hand cream and lip balms.
I love unused samples. I would like any kind of hand cream, shampoo, fragrance, anything really. I love to try new things and samples are the best way to do that.
I love dark, white and milk chocolate everything.
I love anything cat, hummingbird, dragonfly, frog or monkey related. I also like bookmarks, magnets, stationary and handmade crafts.
I love to go to thrift stores and yard sales. A person's trash is my treasure.
Dislikes
I don't like any music other then country and Bon Jovi. I don't like coffee. I don't like historical romance novels. I don't like anything spicy.
I don't like flaker's that some times ruin the fun for others. If you can't do a swap then please do not sign up for them.
Things I Collect
I collect owls, cats, sheep, Disney characters. I love handmade items from these catagories.

I live in Ohio and was just out to California (San Francisco) a few months ago and had a wonderful time. YEA for Bon Jovi appreciation! After all these years, still love his sound! Yes, The Twilight series was wonderful - did you read the onlince version of Edward's perspective? Really hoping she will finish it! Love the Amazing Race and really "bummed" that they changed it from twice a year to only once a year! Loved watching reruns of The Dick Van Dyke show when I was little and happy to have found it on cable. So happy to see you are a scrapbooker!! It is a passion of mine and love hearing others share the hobby as well!! I agree with you, 'One person's trash is another person's treasure" and I LOVE going to yard sales, thrift stores, antique shows, etc... you have a nicely filled out profile and that makes swapping so much more fun and easier to do. Hey there! I'm one of your partners from the read your profile swap. We have a lot in common! Lets start with the crafts. I love scrapbooking too! I also have learned to knit. i don't know how to crochet or do cross stitch yet, but those are on my list of things to try. I love mystery books too! Some of the books i've been reading lately are needlework/knitting/scrapbooking mysterys. They're so much fun! My favorites authors are Maggie Sefton, Laura Childs, and Monica Ferirs. They're not very gory,but they're a fun, easy read. I think the comment you wrote about saying getting mail is like it's christmas all year round! It's so true! it was great getting to know you!
