Hi! My name is Carolynn, I am 20 years old and I am Dominican. Some of my hobbies are collecting postage stamps, postcards and vinyl records, embroidering/cross stitching, baking, dancing, writing and reading.

I LOVE plants. I have a lot of them on my window sill. They just give me peace.

I love learning new things and studying everyday. I am extremely passionate about the environment, and taking care of it. I also study languages (french and portuguese at the moment).

I am a full time college student, and full time shadow teacher.

Tell me about your experiences in life; I will enjoy that very much :)

I live for travel; even if I don't leave home much, I love learning about other cultures. It is just so interesting to me; food, history, languages, traditions,all that jazz.

Please know that coming from a 3rd world country, whose postal system is extremely inefficient, my mail will take a long time to get to you. If you do not receive a package of mine, PLEASE CONTACT ME.

It could take up anywhere from 3 weeks to even 3 MONTHS.

COVID MAIL AS OF 2/8/2021 I CAN SEND MAIL TO: Central America, USA, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Israel, South Korea, Japan, Most SOUTH AMERICAN countries and most CARIBBEAN countries.

My favorite books are definitely Persepolis (comic autobiography) and Confieso que He Vivido by Pablo Neruda. If you have any book recommendations, throw them my way! Same goes for recipes, interesting topics to research about, etc.

Postcards I like: - Fine arts (painting, sculpture, architecture, music, poetry, theatre and dance) -Modern art - Countries cultures and emblematic features (Food, monuments, famous characters, historic events, etc.) - Plants -Cuisine (Especially baked goods, traditional dishes and wine) - Greetings from... -Royals, Aristocracy and Nobility (I enjoy all, but I really like 17th, 18th, 19th and early 20th century figures) -Important people of history -Maps and flags - Anything relating vinyl records, record players and such

I don't like religious postcards (Unless they are related to history, such as old churches and such).

PLEASE write something! Tell me your favorite song, something about yourself or your country, or something that you're passionate about :) Written stamped and dated. I also collect stamps, so I will always enjoy some extra ones ;)
