I'm a 25 year old that is native to Las Vegas. I am into all kinds of film, music and anything art-related. I love NPR. My favorite program on Public Radio is This American Life w/Ira Glass. I like all different kinds of colors and color combinations. Whenever anyone asks what my favorite color is, I always say rainbow. I am a communicator at heart. I also like history, and anything that is vintage or tells a story. I like all kinds of arts and crafts. Making things and cultivating my creative side has always been fun for me.

I like all kinds of music! Some of my favorite bands include: The Arcade Fire, Beck, Bob Dylan, Buck 65 (and other indie hip-hop artists) David Bowie, The Decemberists, Prince, Hot Chip, Patsy Cline/Jim Reeves/Johnny Cash...(all older country and folk) and The Shins... But I like it all, really.

I really like comics and graphic novels. However I am in a more formal book club as well. I average about a book a month. Currently in the book club we are reading Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen...which I find to be somewhat boring so far. Some of my favorite books: Ishmael (Daniel Quinn), Moral Disorder by (Margaret Atwood), Rebel Without A Crew (Robert Rodriguez), Magical Thinking and Running With Scissors (Augusten Burroughs) and The Prophet (Kahlil Gibran). I recently became very interested in David Sedaris' novels and short story collections. I think he's absolutely hilarious and a very talented writer.
