I am a early 50's new empty nester/ stay at home Mom. I have been involved with art/crafts all of my life. I even have an art degree from a few moons back! I am looking for fun things to get involved it and I ran across swap-bot. Right now I am really into paper art/crafts. My daughter just got married and I helped made all of the decorations for the reception for an entire wall of paper flowers for the main wall. I am now expanding my paper flowers to include new flowers made out of crepe paper with stems and leaves.I make my flowers out of craft, crepe dictionary, magizines, music, and map papers (I make envelopes out of all of these papers too). I'll try any kind of paper once, some work, some don't so if they don't work I trash it and try again - the motto :)

I pretty much just love all things paper. I love to cut, assemble and glue anything I can think up.

I have a passion for Color Box fluid chalk it's the best! Also how much fun is it to get new paper - so exciting.

I love black paper, interesting papers from other places and paper punches. I also make paper cuttings, sew, quilt, weave, knit, make baskets, ect - if it seems intresting to me, I'll try it.

I like to try new things this year so on my list is learning to crochet and begining a yo-yo quilt.

My favorite colors are pink, fushia, red, black and white. Green is really starting to grow on me.

I like anything with bumblebee's on it. My neices and nephews call me "Aunt Bee" so the bumble bee has stuck as a symbol for me.

I like flowers, birds and butterflies.

I always try my best and when I agree to make something for someone I promise that I will do just that, and it would be my sincere hope that they would be very happy with what they got.

I just started swap-bot in April and I have already been flaked on. I decided to start a list so that we can compare flakers.
