I am a 45 yr old Mum of 5 from Australia. I enjoy gardening (it's a huge passion) crafts (I'll try anything) Alternative media,Alternative medicine/healing, renovating houses - my family and I have just built our own home all by ourselves.

I have just rediscovered postcards and used to collect them as a child. I would like to swap with other collectors world wide.

I prefer stamped, handwritten postcards and like to send the same.

My favourites are: - Scarecrows, Autumn harvest,pumpkins - Gnome anything - Peace sign, greenpeace, Environment - Your Country's: Myths/ Mythical creatures/Fairies/Leprechauns/ Folklore/Gods ...Not general art with these, just what is local to your country.... - Your local Haunted houses/Castles -Gems, minerals, mining -Observatories,comets etc -animals, birds -Tourist attractions, theme parks, zoos. Smaller tacky, kooky tourist attractions even those no longer in business.

IN AUSTRALIA we have the BIG THINGS - BIG banana, Big pineapple , BIG guitar etc huge structures that are tourist attractions so any BIG thing from your country would make my day!

postcards I like the least are: - Multiviews, 2 or 3 larger views are ok. -Nightviews -Advertising -Cartoons -TV shows, TV characters, celebs

Kate Bush, Meatloaf, 70's music...yes, I know - I'm still stuck in the 70's!!!!

Reference - I read everything, I love to learn and have a home library. I am not nto biographies, novels etc.

I don't watch TV and prefer Youtube but I did enjoy Lost in Austen on DVD recently.
