Hello! My name is Danielle.

I grew up working in my Dad's set construction company, building sets and scenery painting. I'm still doing that now, making props and puppets.

I've been married 20 years to my darling husband Nate.

I love most mediums of art. I like to give it all a go to see what I can come up with.

At the moment I love drawing with ink, rubber stamping, multimedia collage, mail art, making envelopes and cards.

• I have three lovely children. Josie 18, Sam 16 and Phoebe 7

• All the old movie greats with the likes of Katherine Hepburn, Cary Grant, Jimmy Stewart, Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau, rate high for me. Arsenic and Old Lace, Some Like it Hot, Wonderful Life, Philadelphia Story.. Ma and Pa Kettle, The Marx Brothers RKO Pictures

  • I watch a lot of modern comedy. Seth Rogan, Adam Sandler, Jim Carrey all make me laugh. Anything with Bruce Willis, Johnny Depp, John Cusack, Merryl Streep, Bill Murray

  • Also cheesy 70's and 80's B grade movies! Love the soundtracks to these also. Bullit, Barbarella,

  • Polanski The Tenant, Rosemary's Baby,

  • zombies and monster. Shaun of the Dead, Zombieland, Evil Dead, Night of the living Dead Poltergeist, Close Encounters of the Third Kind

  • Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Stranger than Fiction, Waking Life, I Heart Huckabees R.E.D FightClub, Big Fish, Groundhog Day

There aren't many movies I wont watch and I am a firm believer in the saying

"All of life's riddles are answered in the movies. " Well many of them anyway......

Anything you put some effort and joy into, rather than just complete the task. Any colour you'd choose for you artwork yourself is fine, as this is a reflection of what you like and I like to see what others like. But if something is especially for me, I like subdued colours best, and blues, greens, browns and reds, Natural Earthy colours.
