A sewing woman that loves to be home with her littles, Capriel 3 1/2 and Lyam 10 months. Wife to a beautiful man, Christopher who is currently in New Zealand getting things set up for our move to the beautiful country. My love for sewing started at an early age through 4-H and has grown through the years. Fabric is an addiction and I love creating clothes, quilts, bags and fun toys for the littles. It is my creative outlet and I have just recently started up again..it feels good! smiles
Lifehouse has been my favorite band since I first heard their album almost 9 or so years ago. I have grown to love Pink Floyd due to the fact that it is my husband and daughters favorite laughs I recently have been trying to broaden my listening and taking suggestions from some various blogs that I follow. This week I have been enjoying Jose Gonzalas..what a beautiful, smooth sound he has!
I don't get to read much these days...at least novels, but I have to say that Jane Austen is my favorite. Now adays I really enjoy flipping through various sewing books, old and new, to get inspiration and broaden my creative mind. smiles
I'm not much of a movie goer these days for various reasons, but do enjoy my Jane Austen movies! smiles
No TV here! If I do occasionally watch something here it is on DVD...Weeds andThe Tudors. smiles
Sewing...clothing, bags, toys, quilts...Embroidery and I use to love counted cross stich but don't do that much these days. I also love to applique.
Hmm...favorite colors are soft pinks and yellows...but love all natural earthtones. At the moment I am on a strict non dairy, soy, egg diet so that my little doesn't have allergic reactions and constant tummy aches. I love to hike, camp, and traveling, gardening...anything outdoors really. Vintage fabrics and sewing notions are an addiction and I love to collect, especially since I am just starting again after leaving all my goodies behind moving to the West Coast. I love different jewelry and clothes. I have started to love the laid back style of our hometown in Humbolt County. I havent gone hippie just yet but love the laid back layered comforts.
Anything to do with sewing and embroidery such as threads, DMC floss, elastics (3/4 inch), cotton fabrics, old buttons, wool felt, and a fastener snap tool
