PLEASE NOTE - I have been diagonalized with a complex type of Bell's Palsy & I have other issues and after an MRI there is a anomaly on/in my brain and we now have to deal with this and I have no idea what will happen or when. So I am stepping way at this time. I've sent all my swaps and will try to rate all that come to me in a timely manner but right now my life is not my own. Thank you for understanding.
I am a retired Children's Librarian but I now work as a Research Librarian now which is a challenge. I collect rare 1st ed., 1st printed books. I "hunt" for mine, I don't just buy them, I spend hours in thrift stores & used bookstores.
Please send NOTHING that has been around smoke. My grandson has Asthma that is triggered by even the smell of smoke. Thank you so much.
I want to experience things I never have so just send what you like and I'm sure it will be wonderful! I have never flaked and never will.
I'm a religious Jew so I would prefer to not receive any Christian items (Easter, Christmas, Snowflakes.) Thank you ahead of time for your consideration.
I'm so open. I read everything from young adult to classics. I'm never without a book. The first two book I give to a friend are "The Giver" by Lois Lowery & "Year of Wonders: A Novel of the Plague " by Geraldine Brooks. The ending of "The Giver" is very ambiguous so I love learning how people think it ends. As genres I love history, historical fiction, sci-fi, mystery, mythology ( all types)., fairy tales (old & new) & books with complex plots. I don't do love stories or beach reads.
R&B, Santana, Elvis (Presley & Costello), Johnny (Cash & Lang). Almost anything with a deep base.
Lace ribbons, buttons, charms & pieces of satin or velvet (5x7) would be loved. I love all the characters in "Alice in Wonderland" characters (Original not Disney). Old maps, sheet music & b&w photos. Keys: tiny, small & old, fairies. I drink non-caffeinated fruit tea & flavored hot coco.
My favourite colours for fabric are deep royal hues & rich as well as vibrant colours. Not really solid but with some hint of movement. I prefer unique to traditional & odd to safe. I also like quirky, uncommon & small antiques. Just about any thing that makes you go "hmmmm" I'll like.
I quilt but like to put my own twist on a pattern. I string beads & make jewelery. I also knit but mainly simple patterns. I love Steampunk art but have yet to take it on. My next challenge is to rock ATC's. Love them just need to own them & stop being afraid of them.
I am the eldest daughter of 4 girls born to a wealthy cloth merchant who lacked an son. He had a lust to grow as high socially as he had grown monetarily. So, I was to be sold (married) to the highest bidder. I'm only fair, not really pretty. I have few skills in the arts of keeping a home & at the age of 20 years I am considered "old". I'm sure it will be a low bid but my father will climb one step high in the social ranks. I have no idea who this man will be or how I'll handle being a wife but I have no choice, this is my life's path.
NOTHING that has been around smoke *Princess & Disney items. *Plastic Jewelry (except for vintage) *Sachets, candles or soaps *Make up, lip gloss or perfume *Coffee or Black & Green Tea.

Thank you so much for two books that I have wanted for such a LONG time: "Hello, Cupcake!" and "The Sun Egg" - both just in time for Easter.
Sophia, Olivia, and I are going to have a lot of fun making some special cupcakes for Sunday's Easter dinner after taking a look through the book.
The girls will receive "The Sun Egg" on Easter. I know they will love the book because many of the books they enjoy listening to again and again are by Elsa Beskow (the author of "The Sun Egg").
Thank you for your generosity....and for creating some special times for the girls and I in the future through baking and reading!

BIG THANKS
for not one, but two delightful packages of etsy favorites for my wishlist! You have made not one, not two, but three gals in my home very happy both today and in the past. Every time we enjoy our lovely gifts, we will think of you with affection! (((hugs))) x3 from TeaNi and my 2 teeny-tinies (couldn't resist) ;oP
Thank you for the two VERY cute outfits for little Kenslee. I can't wait to see her in them and get you pictures. :)
Thank you for the Etsy fave for the Feb. wishlist. I don't make it over to your location too often. We had to pick our daughter up from camp near there this summer and stopped to shop at the mall for school. When I dropped her off at GS camp I decided to drive back around through Shelton for a scenic drive (most of them are that anyway around here) / avoiding the bridge. Of course I looked at miles to see if a $4 toll outweighed a gallon of gas. About the same mileage so I went that way. Have a good day! Naomi
