Since my health isn’t good (and also, stamps are getting to expensive!) I’m pausing my swapping. I hope to come back soon 😀
I’m Anna, a 43 years old woman from Sweden. I had many penpals when growing up, then lost interest when becoming a teenager. Got back to it again a couple of years ago and found out about ”happy mail” and the lovely community of crafters online about the same time. Now I’m stuck!
Likes to read, take long walks (preferably in the forest), to cook (vegan), do yoga and to write letters and make happy mails to my penpals from all over the world. Has two kids living with me every other week.
Paper crafts, like folders, pockets, emphera and envelopes. I love to reuse material or ”trash” and create something new. Washis, stickers and old books are also great things to use in crafts.
I love vintage (reprints are nice, but old authentic things are the best). I’m always searching fleamarkets for old books, papers, letters, tickets, postcards and more.
I get my inspiration to craft from watching tutorials on youtube and Instagram, but also from receiving happy mails from my talented penpals. Or by just sitting at my desk, folding some papers in different ways until a got something that I like. Mostly making things with a theme, but sometimes I just do a mix of different patterns, textures and shapes. Craftes with an audiobook as a company.
I’m in constant need of more paperglue, non-vintage ephemera and stamps, my scoreboard is called my darling (yes, I’m single), I can’t stop buying more washitapes, stickers and papers even do my craftsspace is filled with it.
The best crafts are the once done with love and without any pressure about being perfect ❤️
I read almost all genres, mostly in Swedish but some in English. My goal for 2023 is to read 100 books. The goal is a challenge for me, not a competition. I use goodreads and Instagram (anna_bokkonto) to keep track of the books I’ve read and to find new books to add to my never ending list of books I want to read.
If I join a swap I will send my letter before the swap ends. If there is a delay that I know of, I will let you know. I had some problems with letters to and from UK since Brexit, letters to and from USA is sometimes really fast and sometimes it takes weeks…
I press sent in a swap as soon as I left the letter in a mailbox. In Sweden, mail can be sent from Monday-Friday, not during weekends. Incoming mail arrives only two-three times a week.
Please let me know if your waiting to get something from me or if there’s something wrong with shipping or the swap it self. If a swap is gone, I would love to try again and send you a new one.
I rate as soon as possible after getting the swap-letter and would love for you to do the same.
I’m allergic to scents from perfumes, so please don’t send any smelly stuff!!
Things that I’m not that in to:
• Plannerstickers (I got so many)
• Religious things/themes
• Black tea (I only drink roobius/red- or herbal tea)
• Food/candy that’s not vegan and with gluten in it (I’m a vegan that doesn’t eat gluten)
So, I’m gonna try to make a A-Z-list with things I like, since I think it helps me reading others when doing a swap.
