Hello, I recently just joined Swap Bot. It took me a long time to find a reliable PenPal site and I am hoping this one goes well. I adore sending things in the mail and it will be even better to receive a letter back!

Some things about me are... I just recently moved to a new state, it is still a big change. I love literature. I am hoping to find some book swaps...I have too many books and I would to expand my ideas from others anyway!

I love films as well. It is hard to have a favorite movie but Fight Club, The Place Beyond The Pines, Manolete, Safe Haven, and many more are some of the ones I like the most.

I like to do some areas well. I do not do too much art because I am actually not too good at, haha. So instead of art at times I will paint a furniture piece and create my own design on it. I love to build things from scratch as well!

I can talk about books all day! It is hard to have a favorite seeing as their are just so many different styles and languages and genres! A book that has stuck with me for a while now is, The Bad Girl by Mario Vargas Llosa. I encourage you to look it up. The tragic love stories I always enjoy more, who knows why! A book that has stuck with me throughout my entire life is, Milkweed by Jerry Spinelli. From the very first time I read it, I was in love. The story is just incredible and so are the characters.

I find myself enjoying Latin literature the most. I do read it in English but the poetic ways the authors write is beautiful.

Something I have always enjoyed is building furniture. I love to the buy the wood measure it, and get down to business building it. I do have to say my favorite part of the process is the painting. I get kinda crazy when I start painting. I like to do bright crazy colors and add my own little doodle within it!

Music! We all love music. My favorite genre is for sure indie/folk music. I adore The Lumineers! Then I love Willie Nelson and some Johnny Cash. Emmylou Harris makes me want to dance! Anyways when I listen to Hip Hop music, I tend to listen to the oldies! Some Mos Def, some Tupac and some Lauryn Hill.
