About Me:

I enjoy a variety of crafts such as gardening, sewing (mainly quilting), painting with oils, acrylics and watercolors, anything paper related (I am totally addicted to paper) I love rubber stamping, scrap booking and making my own cards. I think if someone takes the time to hand make you anything, it comes from the heart.

I was a floral designer for 20+ years and owned my own flower shop. Now I work in an office. Blah!

I love to surround myself with beautiful things.

I am the mother of two great kids who are both in college (couldn't be more proud)

I love to cook and collect cookbooks. I love vintage and strange cookbooks, even though I rarely use them.

I love animals of every kind, but elephants have a special place in my heart. I am not sure why. I have a dog and a cat (who think they are brothers... so cute)

I love to make other people happy. So if I can make one person smile or feel better it makes my day.

Favorite Color is Purple, but also like Pink and Green.

Favorite Music: I enjoy all music. It really depends on my mood, I listen to just about everything. I am always on the look out for new music. As my children remind me, I am always a little behind on music trends. Currently really enjoying Beat Antique.

Favorite Book: This is also a really hard one. I am constantly reading, I enjoy romance, fantasy, thrillers, suspense, mysteries and OK all of them. I am currently reading Sherrilyn Kenyon.

Favorite Movie: Again, I have many favorites, but my all time favorite is either Gone with the Wind or Wizard of Oz. This time of year, I have already watched Elf like 3 times, I should have been born as one of Santa's Elves.

Favorite TV Show: The Good Wife or Castle I also enjoy several others but rarely have time to watch everything.

Likes: I can see Beauty in most things. I joined this site to get inspired and share my love of crafting with others that appreciate it as much as I do. If you had the patience to read this far, then you know I love animals, especially elephants. I love flowers, candles, and anything beautiful.

Dislikes: Mean People, Anything Gory. I can find humor in somethings distasteful, but I appreciate something nicer.

I am still new, so I will edit this as I go along and see what happens.
