I'm currently crafting in sunny San Diego. I grew up in Northern California but didn't get enough sun, so I moved my way down the state to the beach. I absolutely love the ocean and the outdoors.
I've been making things ever since I learned how to use my hands. My grandma taught me to sew when I was only six and bought me my first sewing machine a year later. (It's still going strong!)
I love sewing, crochet, photography and jewelry making. I sew clothing for myself and my nieces as well as bags, purses and every great once and a while I'll make a quilt.
I also dabble in painting, drawing, collage, embroidery, cross stitch and polymer clay.
I have a sticker collection bigger than your average 4th grader. (and I've had it longer too!)
I live at the beach so some of my favorite itmes are Nautical/Ocean/Boat themed items, Pirates, Mermaids!, Fish, Anchors, Sharks, Octopuses, etc.
But I also love:
Calaveras (sugar) skulls
Matroyshkas (Russian nesting dolls)
All things Japanese & Most Kawaii items
Cute Robots
Gnomes
Zombies and Halloween
Animals : all kinds of birds, deer, kittens, elephants, butterflies, and underwater creatures!
Colors: blues/teals/green/lime especially turquise but I really love all colors! and polka dots and stripes.
Supplies I love: large interesting beads, buttons, patches, vintage jewelry, charms, and vintage photographs.
I sew a lot so I can always use thread - the prettier the color the better! - Ribbon, zippers, buttons, alexander henry fabrics, Heather Ross, Echino- useable scraps (or larger) of these are my favorites (as well as other awesome designers), Japanese Import fabrics,
