I'm a SAHM of 5 kids - 8yo dd, 6yo ds, 3yo ds, 2yo dd, and 1yo ds. We home-educate them, so that keeps me busy...I like to cook, write, do paper art type stuff, read....I love reading cooking and organizing books! I keep saying that someday I'll get all my art stuff organized, LOL. I like tea and coffee and chocolate, of course. I'm also pretty passionate about human slavery and global justice....my favorite organization is International Justice Mission.
I like all different kinds....Nickle Creek, Jack Johnson, Chris Thile, celtic music, indian music - love the Slumdog soundtrack. Country, Derek Webb, Sara Groves, worship music - Chris Rice, Chris Tomlin, - even Ashlee Simpson - I'm not sure why, lol.
paper arts type stuff - ATC, zines, collage, rubber stamping, image transfers, somerset-esque type stuff, etc. I used to do scrapbooking and have so many pictures it's kind of faded into the background for now. I do some jewelry beading every now and then....I enjoy it but I make such a big mess of getting out every single bead and charm I own, I don't do it a whole lot. I'm slowly learning how to make soldered jewelry, too.....I'll pull that out every once in a while and try to get better...it's kind of tricky!
My favorite color is prussian blue, but I also like the jewel-tone colors, purples and greens. I also like earthy colors, too.....I'm not really a fan of pastels.
For art stuff I like antique stuff, asian/indian stuff, papers, keys, tags, foreign things, stamps, currencies, rubber stamps, post cards, old photos, beads, foreign text, charms......I love little bitty things to use for 'art stuff'. I just love old global things that I can tear up and use in art.
