I am a doll maker (usually make original dolls now, but made dolls from patterns when I was younger), quilter, reader, knitter, crocheter, gardener, and dachshund-in-particular, dogs-in-general lover. Dogs should have been at the front of my list, since they are most important to me. We just adopted a third dachshund, a rescued one who is very sweet. I am a creative person;I like to make soup; I am not very organized; I am not crazy about housework which is too bad, because I make big messes when I work.
I don't have favorite colors, but tend to like brights; I spend my time in striped knit shirts and jeans; I'm a retired school teacher--so is my husband. We live in a small rural town and don't like cities except to visit.
The nice thing about small town life is the lack of bad traffic; the bad thing about small town life is that if you need art supplies, you have to drive to the nearest bigger town (50 miles away) to get them.
