I'm a young lady of twenty years attending college as an English major--because yes, I love English with a burning passion. I've been writing letters ever since I was eight and have unfortunately lost contact with most of them. Armed with a new fountain pen and a love of mail, I'm looking to jump back into the world of snail mail.

Usually I can be found writing away during the late hours of the night and do my best to get things out in a timely manner. Be warned though, for I like to fill up the page as much as possible as I believe a letter should be reasonably long.

I happen to love scrubs, lotions, and facial care products as well as lip gloss. Usually, you'll catch me wafting the scent of vanilla--or on other occasions, either a floral or aquatic perfume oil blend. I love to burn candles and wax tarts as well as the occasional stick of incense.

I'm a sucker for the color blue and also love mint green, lavender, and periwinkle. Also, I love fashion--though admittedly I don't dress quite as well as I could--and am intrigued by fashion magazines from other countries.

Lastly, I'm a lover of Moleskine notebooks and fountain pens (though all I own at the moment is a Lamy Safari). I love being able to change ink colors as well as the classic look of a nib.

Though I love coffee--and admittedly Starbucks isn't a bad place to write at--I'm slowly beginning to appreciate tea. My taste in music ranges from Classical to Alternative Rock though admittedly I'll listen to just about everything. For a while, I was really into J-Rock and K-Pop. I've taken Japanese classes in high school and have briefly stopped in Japan--though I suppose it doesn't really count as it was only the airport.

Places that I'd really love to visit include Japan, Korea, Ireland, Canada, and England. The only other country that I've been to is Thailand--as I'm half Thai.

I'm huge on the violin and love when it's used in Rock music. The Bravery, Imogen Heap, Lady Gaga, and Children 18:3 are just a few of my favorite bands.

My taste in music ranges greatly, and I've found that Classical music works best for letter writing--and story writing as well. Alternative and Rock for long car rides, and Vocals for when I'm in an odd mood.

A few of my favorite shows include Glee, True Blood, Gossip Girl, Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, House, and Psych.

In my opinion, a good soundtrack and enough plot twists make for a good show.

Interview with the Vampire, Pan's Labyrinth, Labyrinth, P.S. I Love You, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Sleepy Hollow are amongst my favorite movies though I also enjoy watching movies that were made in the 80's and earlier.

At the moment, Charlaine Harris, Kim Harrison and Karen Marie Moning are my absolute favorite authors. I enjoy supernatural, romance, historical, and mystery novels--and am always open to reading something new.

I enjoy sighing happily at the sight of both new books and old books--and also collect them, much to the dismay of my limited bookshelves.

Admittedly I'm not the craftiest kid in class, but when I try, I really, really try. Lately it's the occasion sketch, some baked goods (alright, mainly cupcakes... red velvet to be precise), and sticker collages. I've tried my hand at knitting before to no avail, it's simply not for me.

Oh! Also, I make cards when the mood strikes me and am getting into decorating envelopes.
