I'm a 34 yr old (chronologically speaking) girl...with a creative streak that sometimes gets the better of me. Just ask Steve T. Gnome...my latest creative venture gone wacky (he has a blog now... torontognome.blogspot.com).

I'm a writer and publish randomly...which I am trying to morph into the term "frequently".

I live in Toronto in a little apartment with my trusty pooch and two kitties.

I have a love of sushi, all things Hello Kitty and the colour pink. I'm also obsessed with NYC and Paris - so pale pink and black are melding into my colour palette as of late.

Generally I love poppy catchy sorta stuff with a bit o' edge - some of my favorites are The Killers, Broken Social Scene, Pearl Jam, The Trews and well a whole lot more.

I listen to classical music to relax and think...really the only music I don't enjoy is new country.

Again....crazy tastes but I will admit readily that my guilty pleasure movie is Bring It On. I love anything Kevin Smith - he is brilliant and I really want to just drink beer and pick his brain one night before I die.

I love darker comedies too - Shaun of the Dead, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang are two that pop to mind. I love the Usual Suspects, Very Bad Things and phew...I can't think of more right now off the top of my head.

I'm not a big TV person anymore since I gave up cable for a healthy (sorta) life style. I do miss Heroes though...a lot. I love The Hour on CBC and Law & Order SVU.

I love knitting, painting, some scrapbooking, quickie crafts like marble magnets and some crochet. This year I really really want to learn to sew too.
