I am 22 years old and I live with my boyfriend in SunValley just outside of Reno, NV. I moved here previously from Las Vegas, NV where I grew up. I go to community college off and on when I can afford it, and I plan to one day be a high school English teacher.

My favorite music has to be rock music. I love Linkin Park, Evanescence, Flyleaf, and my all time favorite band is Lifehouse.

I love to read! I can't get enough of reading. I really like books that mix romance and mystery, and also, in another genre, the spooky ghostly types of novels. I love Stephen King, Nicholas Sparks and I love to always try new authors. I also am a HUGE Harry Potter fan! My favorite book I've ever read though would probably be Eragon by Paolini.

I'm really not too picky about movies, I usually like them all. I love horror movies, and ghost story movies, as well as comedies. My favorite movie is What Dreams May Come and my favorite actor is Robin Williams.

My favorite show right now is Heroes. But I also really like Law and Order, all of them but especially SVU, Judging Amy, Scrubs, Boston Public, Charmed, Angel, Ghost Whisperer, Heroes, and Medium.

I love to write and create in my journal. I love to do scrapbooks, and hybrid journal/scrapbooks. I like to draw and paint, I love all papercrafts, and my favorite thing to do is to alter books. I also have dabbled in throwing pots and sculpting clay as well as working with other ceramics and different glazes and firing temperatures.

My favorite color is purple. I really like: books, butterflies, dragonflies, hearts, stars, Magic: the Gathering, confetti, bookmarks, journals, decoupage, mod podge, stickers, rubber stamps, rainbows, Stephen King, digital photography, blogging, decluttering my life, decorating envelopes, pandora radio, stripes, ramen noodles, YA novels, Harry Potter, diet soda, dark chocolate, colored paper, charms, glass beads, and different colored pens to write with...

I have three boys that I take care of, two of which are four years old and one who is five, and I love to occaisonally surprise them with a story book or new toy car or some play dough or what not, if they have been behaving well. I'm always looking to improve my techniques in managing their behavior with rewards/punishments, different games we can play, arts and crafts I can do with them, etc.

Yeah, I'm pretty new here. I'd love to join so many swaps, but a lot of them have a "no newbie" rule or something, and not to mention, money is pretty tight for me right now. So I'm slowly tip-toeing my way in. I am a dedicated person and any swaps I join I will complete, no matter what. I hope to get rid of that title "Newbie" some time soon and then participate in the heavier swaps! :)
