Hello, I'm Victoria! Currently I'm a part time student and part time worker and I love dabbling in crafts! I'm experimenting with amigurumi, and polymer clay (not together though), and I've had a long time love for origami and paper folding.
Other than crafts, I like drawing (but I'm not very good), cooking, reading (mainly manga now days), video games (RPGs and mmos) and web designing. I'm a newbie to swapping and pen pals, but it sounds like a lot of fun!
I'm also really into Japanese culture. Yup, I'm one of "those." I kinda have an excuse though, I'm half Japanese so it's only natural for me to be interested in it. I like goth lolita and visual kei fashion, the food, kawaii things (like stationary, stickers, deco tape, etc) and a bunch of other stuff! Language, ghost stories, customs and traditions... Not so much the history, unless it's ancient history.
I live at home with my parents and my sister's cat. My sister is away at college most of the year. She loves Hello Kitty, but is not into punk or Hello Kitties with eye colors other than black. My dad collects stamps so I would appreciate it if you could use stamps on what you can.
I love Japanese rock, mainly because I can appreciate the music and if I like it then I can look up the lyrics and appreciate it even more. And the music sounds a little less angry to me for some reason...
I also like groups like Nightwish, Kamalot, and Nickleback. My sister listens to country so I'm used to it and like the majority of what I hear. The only genres I don't care for are R&B and American rap. Rap in other languages is cool, but I don't care for the lyrics sung by American artists.
I make origami figures, paper (lucky) stars, and staw stars. I'm fairly new to straw stars, but I like how they look. Any paper would be appreciated no mater how small! Ok, actually if it's smaller than a key on your keyboard I probably can't use it.
I like cooking! I'm most exposed to Hawaiian style Japanese food (meaning it's sweeter and not nearly as authentic). I would appreciate recipies and small cooking items (sprinkles, cookie cutters, food coloring etc).
I'm getting into making small polymer clay charms. I think they're super cute, but I'm not very good at making them myself...
ATCs look like a lot of fun, I attempted a simple one to try it out and I like how it turned out. So anything (including just reccomendations) for that would be helpful!
I'm also getting into book binding and other paper crafts, made a mini book and it's holding together so far. But it sounds really fun to decorate pages in a journal and really make the journal persoanl. If you know what I mean.
I read more manga than anything now days. I enjoy Godchild, Fruits Basket, Death Note, and Card Captor Sakura.
I haven't picked up a regular chapter book in years so I'm kinda stuck between young adult and adult. I like Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, Interview with the Vampire, The Da Vinci Code. Fiction is what I usually end up reading, other than instructional books for drawing or something.
Overall I like dark or fantasy books. Oh! And ghost stories! I love those! I haven't really read many though. And childrens stories from other cultures.

Come check out the new swap over at Charmmy Kitty! We'd love for you to join!
A fellow Nightwish fan! Awesome! :)
Thank you so much for the cute bandaids that you angeled! One of my sons likes all sorts of Asian themes, so the sushi was claimed immediately :) Love the Hello Kitty too, great for the little ones!
