I also like dragons. Have you read any of the Dragonriders of Pern books by Anne McCaffrey? I started reading them in junior high as they came out. There were only 2 at the time!
My daughter is also on the spectrum. She is currently in a MS program as well as working at a halfway house for homeless folk.
