Quilter, knitter, reader, cook, in between being a wife and daughter and Mom to 2 teenage boys...and working full time as an engineer.
I've been sewing clothing since junior high and quilting since 1992.
I consider myself an advanced intermediate quilter. There's not much I won't try at least once, but I don't think I'm an expert. I have taught a few very basic classes to my quilt bee and to small groups at my former guild. I like mysteries and have written some for my bee. They usually like them.

I love bright colors! I've also learned to like orange, yellow and brown combos since we bought brown furniture for our family room (think growing boys, chocolate pop-tarts, and coke - you get the picture).
I love nearly everything Sandy Gervais and Kate Spain design and have yet to meet a batik I don't love. I don't care much for country-ish or repro lines. Old fashioned calicos are really not my cup of tea.
Creative grids rulers!
Bargello and drunkard's path. I've come to like scrappy designs recently - mostly Bonnie Hunter's influence/fault. :)
