I have been sewing and creating since my early teenage years... anything from cloth diapers to little girls hair bows. I've dabbled in soap and candles as well. I'd have to say my favorite crafts are sewing rag dolls, punchneedle, quilting, and sewing for the holidays.
I am a self taught knitter as well. I really enjoy taking on new projects, and learning new knitting stitches. I can knit both left and right handed.
We are a family of 7, I have 3 children and 2 fur-babies. My husband and I have been married for almost 12 yrs. We are Texans at heart but reside in Eastern Iowa.
I love christian books, Janette Oke is one of my fav authors. I love anything based in Canada or Alaska. I've recently discovered Debbie Macomber and love her "Blossom Street" series.
I love both chic flicks as well as sci-fi. Anything with Kate Hudson or Julia Roberts. I am a big fan of the Harry Potter series, and Lord of the Rings.

Fall and Winter are my favorite times of year, so I "collect" any fabric, ribbons, buttons, or craft supply having to do with those two seasons. I like to decorate with natural items, leaves, etc. I love the smells of fall and winter as well. I melt pumpkin pie tarts almost non stop, LOL!
