I'm a full-time RVer, retired, and enjoy traveling and quilting especially. I go North in the summer and South in the winter with my husband. If there is a delay in my rating your swap, please understand I'm traveling for a couple of weeks and will rate as soon as I get there and receive your swap.
I want to fulfill EVERY swap. If you have not received a swap from me within a reasonable time for PO delivery, please contact me. I will make good on the swap if it means re-sending.
I have my own blog and enjoy reading comments people leave me. You can see it at http://quilterinmotion.net. It's mostly a quilting blog but does tell about my travels some and some recipes, etc. I have many readers who do not quilt and still find it fun to read. I enjoy reading others' blogs too.
I enjoy receiving mail and that's one of the reasons I'm enjoying Swap-bot.
I grew up near the sea so enjoy shells, sea glass, beach prints, etc.
I enjoy reading, especially historical novels. I'm an avid "Downton Abbey" fan. I love the color teal/aqua and often use it in my quilts. I love paper-piecing quilt blocks and am always happy to find a new pattern.
I enjoy using ribbon and trims on my fabric projects.
I don't collect many things as I live in an RV full-time but I do have one passion....pincushions! I have about 25 and always love getting more. Decorative pins for my pincushions are also something I am happy to receive. Sewing notions are always welcome, of course!
Call me crazy but I love what I call "office supply" products-- post-it notes, pens, markers, page flags, paper pads, stationery--especially unique ones. Fabric paint pens, Micron pens all colors.
I never really thought I'd have to add this to my profile but since I just received what I consider an inappropriate PC in a swap, I will state it clearly. DO NOT send me anything of a sexual nature. My opinion is that what you do in the privacy of your bedroom is your own business; what you send me is the world's business and I don't want my grandson who often collects my mail to see such things on the front of PCs. Thanks for understanding. Good CLEAN fun, please.
I'm excited about the swap-bot and hope to participate more.
Quilting is, by far, my favorite craft. I love fabric and am always happy to receive a piece of lovely cotton.
I'm hoping to grow my collection of "brights", brighter colors in my fabric stash. I have stayed away from many of the bright colors but they've been appearing more in my quilts so now I need more of them.
I am always happy with cotton fabric, all colors, all prints.Teal has to be my favorite though I love most colors. Sewing and quilting are what a spend a lot of my time doing. I would rate myself as an experienced intermediate quilter.
I enjoy hand embroidery as well. I prefer DMC embroidery threads and perle cotton thread, and Sulky 12wt.
I've just begun making ATCs and enjoy them.
I've begun doing wool applique so I would love to receive a good-sized piece of wool from you. I deconstruct wool clothing to felt it and then use it for the wool applique. I'd be happy to have a sleeve or any section of an wool blazer or skirt if you come across one, especially oranges, pinks, purples, blues. Plaids and herringbones, etc. are all welcome. You send the wool; I'll felt it!! I can use small pieces so if you have just a small piece, don't be shy about sending it.
I do some watercolor painting and am promising myself to get back into it.
I collect pincushions and am always on the lookout for decorative pins and small containers I can turn into pincushions, and of course unique pincushions.
I knit and crochet . I want to make some locker hooking rugs too and have recently been gifted a locker hook from a generous SBer.
2.5" charm squares for my hexie (hexagon) addiction would be awesome. I love making them.
1 1/2" strips, any cotton fabrics, at least 6" in length
I love dark chocolate, chocolate covered raisins (dark choc), gumdrops, candy corn and jelly beans.
Love unsweetened iced tea, lemon or light flavored hot teas; chai tea espec. and hot chocolate.
I like to use healthy, low cal and sugar-free recipes for the DH. Please, no dessert recipes unless they are tasty sugar-free recipes.
I consider PCs of a sexual nature inappropriate for mailing to "strangers". Please do not send me any questionable PCs.
Since joining several postcard map swaps, I've decided to complete the 50 states. Here's what I have currently (as of 7/21/13):
Alabama Arizona California Colorado Florida Georgia Hawaii Idaho Indiana Iowa Louisiana Maine Massachusetts Michigan Minnesota Mississippi New Hampshire New Jersey New York Ohio Oregon Tennessee Utah Vermont Virginia Wisconsin Washington, DC

Just wanted to thank you for hosting the Craft Happy Water Bottle Swap. It was very fun to plan and fill and fun to see what others were able to fit into a bottle. Thanks again and enjoy your travels.
