My name is Kristin. I am a single mom of 2 teenage boys. I spend a lot of time between work and taking care of them but I have decided it's time to start taking care of myself too. Which means getting to set aside time to do the things that make me happy.

I have some random taste in music.

My current favorites are Coheed and Cambria, The Hu, Shinee, 5sos, Alex Benjamin, Jhameel, Northern Cree Singers, Daler Mehndi, and Seafret.

I dabble in a lot but I would have to say my favorite crafts are crocheting and painting.

I do amigurumi mostly but have done other projects when asked.

And I mostly work with watercolor for painting.

Hard to narrow it down to a favorite. I mostly ready fiction. However recently my friend has gotten me into danmei books and with the recent influx of translated novels being released in the states I have been collecting all that I can find.

The series that I am currently reading are:

Thousand Autumns. The husky and his white cat shizun. Heaven's official blessing.

But I also am a sucker for fairy tale retellings. Recently read:

Book of a thousand days by Shannon Hale. The Huntress of Thornbeck Forest by Melanie Dickerson. Uprooted by Naomi Novak.
