Hi there!
I'm Chantel from The Netherlands, married and mother of a son (11 yrs) and a daughter (8 yrs).
Reading children's books is one of my passions and also my job: as a librarian I'm working in the field of education and I'm trying to let children feel and experience the love and pleasure of reading.
Reading is a must for me, especially with a good cup of tea or a latte and a nice piece of chocolate! Yummie.
In daily life I love to do all kinds of things with my husband and children. I like to go sporting in sportschool, I'm playing in a wind orchestra, I love high teas and shopping and I like to be busy with my Happy Planner (love love love), bullet journal, postcrossing, making cards, handlettering etc. Stationary, pens, markers, I love them all.
I've been to South Africa, New Zealand, Iceland and several other countries in Europe. Austria is one of my favorites because my dearest friend is living there. And since last summer I'm completely in love with Sweden. A child's dream came true when we visited it. This summer we'll go again!
I'm very excited about the swaps. Please forgive me when something is not directly clear to me. My wish is to send something special to you.
I've got a lot of favorite books, but Harry Potter and Pippi Longstocking are the best for me.
And also: - Die schwarzen Brüder (Levende bezems) by Lisa Tetzner; - all other books of Astrid Lindgren; - Dr. Seuss; - Roald Dahl; - and many other mainly children's books.
Everything that has to do with books or libraries will be my favorite.
That's not difficult: take a pen, a marker, a sticker and some paper and you got me. I love to do handlettering (I'm trying), handwriting, postcrossing, bullet journaling, making cards, doing stuff with old books. Stickers, washi tapes are favorite too. And my biggest love: my Happy Planner (MAMBI)!!!
With a good latte macchiato, a special tea and a piece of delicious chocolate, I'm having a very good crafting time.
About the chocolate... I like many kinds of bars, but I don't like white chocolate. Just surprise me. I'm in for many combinations. Do you know the Dutch chocolate bars of Tony Chocolonely? When you see them in a store somewhere you definitely should give it a try.
