About Me

Traveled to Europe for the first time last December. Loved it so much we can't wait to go back! Adopted to sister kittens that turn 3 in July. Married to a college professor. Walking in a gorgeous park, gardening, thrifting, and eating yummy vegetarian food get me outside! The past and things with a rich patina will catch my eye over bright and shiny. I collect old photo's, Halloween costumes, and paper ephemera.

Mourning

I collect Victorian Mourning items and study the ritual of grieving and mourning. Cemetery preservation and restoration is another hobby. Taking classes on how to clean/repair gravestones and do some volunteer clean up. There is a wealth of history and some amazing examples of period architecture in cemeteries. Still processing photos from my trip to Pere Lachaise last year.

Halloween

As you may have already guessed I am a Halloween fan and have been collecting vintage ephemera for years. A former theater costume designer I love to play dress up! Create costumes every year for Steamcon.
