Hello!
I'm Nicole :)
I'm a 28 year old living in the Pacific Northwest, I work part time at my local paper crafting store and I love making cards and other paper goods in my free time! Come follow me on Instagram if you wanna see what I'm making :)
I write letters back and forth with a good friend of mine, and I'm trying to find more people to write to and share paper goodies with, that's how I got here! I love joining paper crafting swaps when I can find them, and I enjoy email swaps as well.
-Bullet Journaling: I discovered bullet journaling a few years ago and I'm in love with it! I'm one of those people who loves to make to-do lists, and then cross them out when I'm done. I recently was diagnosed with PTSD, and journaling really helps me relax, and I feel a sense of control and peace when I can lay out the week ahead of me.
-Card Making: I love making greeting cards! I'm currently working on an Etsy shop that I'm hoping will be ready to open by the end of this year - fingers crossed! I plan on selling greeting cards and I may expand to other products later.
-Scrapbooking: I don't do much of this, but so far I have made my wedding album. I've seen a lot of my favorite musical artists in concert over the last few years and I'm planning a scrapbook for those photos too.
-Instagram: I try and post what I create on Instagram and keep my followers updated on what I'm currently working on.
I like most genres of music, and my preferences change day to day. If I'm working on a project or I'm trying to concentrate, I like jazz or lo-fi music.
Favorite Artists/Bands: The Killers, The War On Drugs, John Mayer, Fleetwood Mac, Radiohead, Aly & AJ. Too many to name!
When it comes to crafty swaps, I like receiving paper scraps or stickers. Washi tape samples are great too! Recently someone sent me some old newspaper scraps and I love using them! If you have old newspaper or book pages I'd love that. Really anything would be fine to send, I like to see everyone's creativity.
Colors: light pinks, dark greens, grey, lavender, floral pattern, anything really
In general, I like receiving little notes with whatever is sent to me, it's more personal that way. It doesn't need to be a huge, long letter but a paragraph or two is nice. Postcards of where you're from, or places you've been are great too. I'm a collector of postcards!
Bigfoot theme!! I live in the Pacific Northwest, He's part of the culture here. ;)
-Paisley patterns, I don't know why, I just don't care for the pattern. You won't find it in my paper collection -Terribly bright colors like neons -no food items please
