I kinda go in spurts here in Swap-bot.
Postcards: I prefer that they not be gruesome or indecent.
My Young Living Essential Oils Sponsor ID is # 1754501.
.JUST TO LET YOU KNOW-- I RE-USE, RECYCLE AND RE-GIFT! I don't like to see anything without a loving home, so I usually share if it is something I can't use. I also reuse mailing envelopes.
I am Talyn (rhymes with Allen). I am a Stay at Home Mom with a 24 year old son. I am married and currently live in the tiny town of Hansen, Idaho, but have also lived in Walla Walla, Washington and twice in Alaska- Juneau and Anchorage- and hope to live in Alaska again someday.
I would like to raise some Heritage Breed Chickens
One of my favorite mottos...."housework won't kill you, but why take the chance?"
My kitchen is Delft Blue and White-Holland, Netherlands, 'Dutchy' stuff.
I LOVE Moose....I miss having them in my yard in Alaska. I don't miss the bears. They scare me.
Autumn is my favorite time of year. Love the Fall colors and the 'crisp' in the air. Thanksgiving is my favorite Holiday and my favorite meal. I even like SNOW, but too much rain depresses me.
I love the outdoors and go camping whenever I can get away. Nothing beats sitting around a campfire with a cup of hot cocoa and watching the moon and stars. I have a 21 foot Motorhome that I named "The Meandering Moose"
I do volunteering and sewing for charity. I make dresses for Orphans in Bangladesh, crochet scarves and wash cloths for the Refugee Center, Warm Up America, Operation Gratitude and crochet hats and scarves for the our local Cancer Center and sew baby quilts for the Women's Shelter.
I am a Christian, active in my Church, and volunteer in my Church's Community Service Center.
My Grandparents came to USA from Holland and I wish I had learned the language. Would love to visit Netherlands some day.
I do a little gardening and can my produce, grind wheat to make bread and my whole wheat pancakes. I would like to get a little greenhouse going . I compost and recycle.
I prefer spicy (cinnamon, peppermint etc.) scents over flowery scents.
I don't smoke or drink.
I read a lot.
I have nothing against 'used' items, as I enjoy shopping at Second Hand stores myself.
I like Vintage Mason Jars and use them store everything from Beans to Buttons.
I am not an Expert at anything, but I do a little
Kawaii, spiders, skulls, pagan/wiccan, clowns, other scary/ugly things--Yes! Clowns are scary!
Hair accessories-my hair is very short
HAZELNUT Anything!!!
I do not scrapbook or make ATC's.

Travel from one end of Canada to the other end.
Boat the Yukon River.
Open up a Thrifty, Rustic (but cozy) Bed and Breakfast.
Learn to be more self-sufficient, live a simpler and more frugal life.
Hike the Chilkoot Trail..
Do a LOT of traveling in my camper that I call "The Meandering Moose". I have been in many states but there are more I want to see.
Hike down into the Grand Canyon--and ride a Burro back up.
Learn to make a toothbrush rug.
Learn to make paper.
Learn how to sew the Feather Stitch. My Grandmother used this on all of her quilts, and I love the look!

Thanks for the very cute bag! For 'Nuts..'
I... Just got you as a swap partner. I'm thrilled. I'm currently learning Dutch on the Duolingo app- it's free! We will be moving to the Netherlands in six months from Wisconsin. My biggest problem is figuring out what to do with all of my books.
Nuts for Sewing Tote Bag Tag Talyn, thank you so much for the cute handmade tote. I am sending this one to my great-grand daughter Genevieve in Florida. It will be so handy for her to keep her American Girl doll and some clothes in it when she goes visiting. Thank you again, Shirley
