I am in the process of updating my profile

I have loved doing art and collecting art all of my life. I feel that every room in a house deserves some piece of artwork, laundry room included. I dabble in many different things but I recently found that I am particularly drawn to mixed media/collages. It's all the different textures, visual and tangible, that make it so alluring to me.

I was the girl who would ask for wrapping paper for Christmas or invite my entire class over for my birthday and unwrap each present so carefully that kids actually left to go play again. Still guilty.

I started this Swap-Bot account because I love to make things and especially give to people.

I am really excited to work with ATCs. They sound perfect and amazing to make and collect.

There is an art piece I am trying to currently work on based off a dream. For it I need pictures of sleeping birds, Can be as tiny as a dime or as large as a post-it-note. Newspaper, magazine, old book cutout, anything would be amazing.

Bugs/Insects. Especially Spiders!! ( and except earwigs)

Wildflowers. (Violets if I have to be more specific) but flowers in general.

Colors! Not one in particular.

Books. I love to read.

Brooches!

Wind-up toys.

Vintage Pictures/Postcards.

Fairy Tales. I was raised on them and love the art and stories that go along with them. LOVE

Anything old, retro, unique. Even if it's just a button or bit of lace.

Art or objects from different cultures from around the world or different eras.
