I've done a LOT of things in my life and have a lot of different things that I like. I'm single but I've got a great boyfriend who cooks for me often and takes me to great shows. I love music and used to be in an all girl rock band that played locally for four years. I played guitar and sang and had a fabulous time until I decided to do other things, like..... my favorite thing to do in the world right now is to be outside in my vegetable garden. I've been experimenting with gardening for three years. I grow all of my produce for the summer and fall in my own yard. This year I hope to do the same. I also would like to preserve more of my extra veggies to help me extend our harvest into the winter time. I'm also very excited this year about srawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. I want to make jams and jellies.
I love to watch all sorts of movies in the winter time. Documentaries were one of my favorite things to watch this past winter.
I get inspired into creativity by seeing something randomly or by trying to use something more efficiently. It then spirals into craft mode at my house and I go into a busy busy frenzy of create create create! That's why I think I'll love swapping things. I know it will inspire me and I hope to inspire someone else in kind.
Favorite Holiday: Halloween Favorite Colors: Red Black Green Purple Favorite Season: ALL SEASONS!
Forever Amber by Kathleen Winsor; Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon; The Crimson Petal and the White by Michael Faber
Gattaca; Raising Arizona; America's Sweethearts; any movie with Will Ferrill or Jack Black.
I don't watch TV like a normal person. I only watch online or through netflix. I'm usually way behind on network or cable television because of this. I enjoy it though since I never have to stop my life for a t.v. show time slot.
I like crafting things out of items that I have around the house and that I can't use for their original purpose anymore. Old blue jeans turn into a quilt for the master bedroom, an old hoodie can become a tote bag. I make my own soap. I try to crochet but I'm not very good at it. Collage is fun. This year I also have some birdhouse gourds I can decorate as a craft. I grew them myself so I'm very excited about it! Gardening is my favorite hobby.
I love cooking so sending me things like unusual spice mixes, or recipes that just rock would be amazing!
I love gardening so sending me seeds, compressed seed starter mixes, plant markers, or any sort of gardening book or craft would make me happy.
I preserve my own vegetables and fruits at the end of the growing season so anything related to food preservation is welcome! Jar labels, lids, and anything that can be used to decorate the jars of food are fun! Things like vintage fabric swatches and ribbon.
I have a collection of antique or even modern divination tools. Tarot decks, ouija boards, tea leaf reading cups, etc. They're fun to have around.
