I have been a paper crafter for many years. I love to stamp. I recently started using Happy Planners and have watercolor art journal. I mostly use my mini Happy Planner. I love planner stickers, washi tape and clips! My favorite colors are pinks and purples. I like pastels and earthy colors. I love polka dots and stripes. I love anything Kawaii, succulents, hedgehogs, and flamingoes. I also love anything French/France/Paris. I drink chai tea, am only allergic to seasonal pollen, and am fine with glitter.
About me: I live in the state of New York. I am high school French teacher. I speak French and get by in Spanish as well. Am happily married and have one teenage son. We have 3 cats and a big white German Shepard dog. I love to cook, travel and be outside. I come from a very ethnically diverse background and therefore love diversity and peoples from different counties and cultures. I love where I live in upstate New York except for the cold and snow in the winter...but I love all things snowmen!
I am a sci-fi and fantasy nerd. I guess you might say I'm a bit impatient because I prefer to watch shows on Netflix or that I have DVR'd. I cannot stand watching commercial. I tend to do most of my show watching when I am crafting or right before going to sleep to unwind. Some of my most recent binges have been: Sherlock (BBC version), Supernatural, The Waliking Dead, Game of Thrones (I am behind a few seasons), Gotham, All things MARVEL, Doctor Who, Stranger Things, The Walking Dead, American Horror Story. And it all is thanks to my Mom that started me young with Star Trek!
The reason I joined Swap-bot is because I am very discouraged with swapping. I belong to a couple of groups on Facebook and I got majorly flaked on and disappointed with other poor behavior. I put a lot of time and effort into my swaps and I try to be generous. I am very careful and thoughtful about it. I love that we have profiles and you can see what individuals are interested in receiving. I was on the verge of quitting when I found this wonderful site. I am very excited that this site exists and that I can start over in a more organized and regulated group. I love the system of rating and that many swap organizers angel. I also love that it is so international! I am looking forward to some happy swapping!
Things I love: (I am currently obsessed with anything with cactus or succulents!)
