Hey I'm Julie, but most of my friends call me Jules. I I am 28 years old and currently working on healing my inner child. I live in a small town in the beautiful mitten state with my husband & our furbabes.
I love thrifting and antiquing. Theres just something special about holding items that have so much history.
I am a huge mental health advocate & currently serve as the vice president of a local nonprofit in my hometown.
I love the color peach, pinks, greens and neutral earthy tones. I am NOT a fan of neon colors.
I enjoy floral prints, vintage and colorful mail. I of course love when someone uses items found at a thrift/second hand shop if their mail.
I find pleasure in any type of mail - postcards, greeting cards, letters and goodies.
I enjoy fruity teas, but am willing to try whatever.
Junk journal supplies - diecuts, stickers, clippings, postcards
Art - I love seeing other people’s creativity and displaying it on my wall of inspiration for when I have a creative block.
In my free time I shoot photography, walk the downtown area or at one of our lovely parks with my pup, journal, read and bake, cook and garden.
I'm new in the kitchen so if you have suggestions of recipes to try or any helpful hints when cooking I'd love all the help I can get.
I hope to have a little greenhouse set up this spring to start growing my succulents a bit more seriously.
I add little pieces from the mail I recieve in my journal. It is one of my favorite "me time" activities.
I’ve returned to swap box after a couple year break. I’m finally found myself prioritizing my creativity & hobbies. I’ve been penpaling for nearly three years & I visit the post office about twice a week. If you have an issue with your mail from me (haven't received, missing something, etc) please let me know! I will resend within the next day. I will resolve any issues!
I've been working on teaching myself kitchen skills. Growing up, neither of my parents really taught me how to cook, so I'm trying to teach myself.
I'm trying to maintain my journal better. I like to add pieces of my mail from across the states and worldwide. I add clippings from books, magazines, quotes, die cuts and stamps.
I’ve started gardening this year & am so excited to watch as my plants continue to blossom.
