I am in my very early 40's, married, child-free. My animals are my life. I have two beagles. In my former life I was a professional pet sitter and dog walker and loved it! Prior to that I was an art secretary at a university, and prior to that I was an art student obtaining my BFA in photography. Currently I work from home for a non-profit that is providing medical care in very remote parts of Haiti. I am the "home office" in the U.S. I'm also a soap artisan.

I'm a nature lover - I camp and backpack. I'm an organic gardener, a bird watcher. I have a tree tattoo on my shoulder.

In the recent past I've done triathlons and was an avid Jazzerciser. Now I'm into belly dancing.

I like to cook. I'm usually vegetarian. I love cupcakes. I make an awesome vegan cupcake.

I'm into alternative healing and new age stuff. Crystals and gemstones, Reiki, meditation, psychic phenomena, tarot, astrology, chakras, yoga, shamanism. I have a walking labyrinth in my backyard. I believe in fairies! My greatest aspiration is to become an animal communicator.

I have craft ADD! Interested in lots of things, for awhile, until the next cool thing captures me. Right now, it's crochet and chainmaille (not together). Before that, beaded jewelry. Art quilting, basketmaking, visual journals, photography.

I have an extensive collection of new-age nonfiction. Crystal guidebooks, animal communication books, astrology, tarot, etc. Harry Potter fan too.

Movies - I'm a Star Wars geek!

Colors - I like 'em all. Current fave is turquoise.
