I am 57 and am happily married to Colin and I am Mum to two grownup children and grandma to our little star. We have two Miniature Schnauzers who share our lives. I work with my husband in London UK Monday to Friday the weekend we spend in the North of England where we live in the Old Headmasters House.
I don't have any real favorites but since getting an ipod from my son I have got on it some folk easy listening opera and panpipe
I enjoy historical novels and autobiographies. I like to read about the Victorians and Victoria herself also Mary Queen Of Scots. At the moment I am reading about Hillary Clinton
My favorite movie has to be Pretty Woman. I enjoy films about history. The last film I watched was Blood River my husband tends to pick the films and I often 'watch' as I knit or sew
Once again anything historical we are about to have a series on Henry VIII starting on our TV which I have planned to watch. We watch cookery programmes and that is about it as our TV is pretty dismal if you don't like soap operas
I enjoy cross stitch very much and like to knit and sew. I also make my own necklaces and earrings from beads. At the moment I am stitching a small pinkeep - a fairy as a present - I am knitting a pair of socks and I am sewing an Easter table runner also making an easter necklace - that is what I have on the go right now but I have boxes of stuff to do
I like all muted shades of pinks and purples for bold colours I like red and green
I enjoy the company of my friends and family. I enjoy Church on Sundays, walks in the park, the beach and being in touch with others.
I would love to give a home to beads and trimmings, like ribbons and lace, bookmarks and my favourite of all handmade needlebooks I love them making and receiving
We have hedgehogs in our garden which I like to feed and we have squirrels. I guess my favourite has to be owls and of course our two little schauzer dogs. For larger animals I like donkeys
