About Me

I live in Chicago with my husband who is my high-school sweetheart and my two beautiful children. My son is 4 and my daughter is 1. I've taken a bit of a break from swapping after my daughter's birth but I'm ready to start again!

I love to craft when I can find the time and I love receiving handmade items.

My favorite animal is a penguin and my favorite color is yellow.

Favorite Music

I really like every kind of music except for Opera and real twangy country. It is always fun to me to hear new music.

Favorite Books

I love Mary Higgins Clark and any kind of chic lit. In my opinion, I want a book to take me away somewhere. Since I have a young child, I tend to stay away from anything that requires a lot of thought.

Favorite Movies

I love old 80s movies and any type of romance comedies. I want a movie to make me laugh or touch me in some way. I do NOT like scary movies.

Favorite Television

I am a reality TV junky. My favs are Survivor and Big Brother. I also like crime dramas and sitcoms. Ok, I'll watch just about anything.

Favorite Crafts

Making jewelry is my favorite craft but I really like to try a lot of different things. I would love to get into digital scrapbooking too.

Favorite Teas

I really like a variety of teas by my favorites are flavored, green and black. I like to try new and unusual flavors too. Some herbal is fine, but I prefer the caffeine in the other stuff:) The only kind I don't really like is mint or orange flavored.

Comment: I LOVE the necklace and earrings you sent to me! I don't have enough black and white anything and I really like the design you chose. In fact, I opened it as I was on the way out the door, and put the earrings on in the bus and am still wearing them! It's funny how swapbot chose me as your partner, seeing as how we live pretty close to each other! LOL
