I'm Katie and a student in the Midlands of the UK, I study English, drama, French and psychology and next year hope to study English and drama at uni with a view to becoming an English teacher. I'm a vegetarian, something I feel quite strongly about and love having a laugh with friends as we are all hilarious!
I love all kinds of crafty things - cross stitch, digital scrapbooking photography and other arty pursuits...on the non crafty side of things I'm also into urban dancing, acting, performing and watching theatre, kitchen hopping and karaoke, generally being social and having a laugh all the time!
I like lots of different music - mainly happy stuff because it's good for a boogie and singalong - love karaoke too! - and also world music or foreign -Santana, Tryo and Juanes par exemple! Also I am in an ABBA tribute band so of course our harmonious synchronicity rocks!
My favourite films are Love Actually, Moulin Rouge and The Lion King but many others too :) comedies and musicals are great.
My favourite TV programmes are comedies that's just what I like - Mock the Week, Whose Line, The Mighty Boosh and Two Pints, and quite a few other similar shows when they're on, and also Neighbours the only soap anyone could ever need! (Don't stop washing though ;) I also love reading but if I started listing my favourite books I'd be here all day - basically fiction, comedy is great or nice stories nothing shock shock horror or too depressing or autobiographies nooooo!! If I wanted to read about your life I'd have stolen your diary ;)
I'm not too fussy so you are safe with most things with me! However because of animals I hate anything made of leather, suede, real silk, fur or feathers and most wool, and can't eat sweets with gelatine or animal products like marshmallows or haribo type of sweets. I don't drink tea... I am also allergic to scented candles and incense - they give me a headache..and the smell of lavendar does too.
Most other things are appreciated -
I love anything kawaii, sanrio, Disney and animals especially MONKEYS!!! also zebras, pandas, dogs, donkeys, turtles, parrots, but all animals really anything cute :) My favourite kawaii are - monkey pirates, any monkeys, robots, Tenorikuma, Hello Kitty, deery lou, Chococat, puppies, kittens, Tomorrow's Song, Happy Charm, Hard Candy, Naughty Rocks and other music/girl themes like those, Honey Bee, pandas, Fairy tale, cute foods with face, Mamegoma, frogs, penguins, ducks, squirrels, chipmunks, bunnies, goldfish, Poppy Room, Smile Pocket, Afro Ken, Pankunchi...in fact almost anything!
The kawaii I don't like are - sushi and meat ones, monokuro boo, doraemon, diddl and domo-kun.
I love The Powerpuff girls, The Muppets especially Kermit the frog, Snoopy, robots and spacey theme like Brave New World, VW Beetles and Campervans I also love! and Superhero theme, Penelope Pitstop, The Lion King, Tweetie Pie, David and Goliath. I love bright colours and anything music themed, I also love anything arty. I like craft magazines especially cross stitch and crochet things would be useful as I am learning (slowly!)
I like quirky jewellery and I have pierced ears and collect earrings,
and also love pretty or crazy knickers (underwear, small or UK size is 8-10) a sort of obsession... :)
I love anything nautical and sailorish is very nice :) like anchors etc also things that are piratey but cute not too scary! ;)
I would love polymer or fimo clay, don't know where to get it from and I'd love to have a go at getting crafty with it!
I love anything shoe themed especially the little Barbie shoes as I make jewellery from them!
I like cute pin badges/button badges you know the little round ones :) or also little handmade felt ones I have admired :)
I'd love anything kawaii and I'm not fussy about the brand or characters I think they're all great and would love sticker flakes or kawaii sticker sacks as we can't get them very easily in the UK :( also stationary and I'd love a pencil case or make up bag that's kawaii! Or I would love a blind box toy - Hello Kitty or cactus pups or anything really I'm not fussy!
I love leg warmers, plastic visors and sunglasses with coloured plastic frames! and anything 80s style bright and colourful - think Wham! or Fame :P or rollerskate style - I like quads, not inlines - that's just the way I roll ;) hehe
I also love Pop Art style anything like Roy Lichtenstein style comic book art with the Benday dots kind of stuff is amazing :)
I am in an ABBA tribute band so love anything that's a bit ABBA style or ABBA themed or Swedish at all really - think gold and silver glamorama!! An ABBA head band like the girls wore would be great then we can take it on our Swedish tour (one day... dreams)
Also anything that someone has taken the time and effort to make will always be treasured.
I would love a Swedish dictionary or Swedish diary for 2008 (saw these in IKEA but from 2004 and just to have something on their bookshelves...I wanted one!)
I'm very random so anything you sent me on a swap that is a bit random I will probably love it! ;)

Oh no~ sorry about the sweets =( I read about your allergies from your profile and keep reminding myself, but STILL I forgotten to check the ingredients before putting them into the envelope ~.~
Well, you don't have to return them, share them to the others around you =)
I'm glad that the mail reached safely and happy that you like them ^^ Hope you have a great time enjoying the stuff ^_^
Dear Katie, thanks for the nice earring, and for the extra panda. Greetings, Andrea
Oh, I am so glad you liked the Blue Bird. My Daughter named it but I can't remember the name now. If you have any problems with the crochet instructions don't hesitate to hollar! I'll help if I can!
