Hi!

My name is Jaime and I live in Florida. I now have two sons; Johnny who is 3, and Anderson who was born on 11/21/11! I am 25 years old, I am studying massage therapy, and I recently started postcrossing which has totally kindled my LOVE of snail mail. I love upcycling, food, reading, being outdoors, animals, traveling, and just about anything else life has to offer!

WISHLIST:

I love bright colors and handmade things :) My dearest wishlist includes quilted postcards, amigurumi, cloth diapers, cloth wipes, stuffies and sock monsters...really, I am so impressed with people who can sew well. I wish I had the talent!!

I also love Brightly colored and old bottles, upcycled items and art.

I love postcards (written on, stamped, and showing their journey), and collect them for myself and my kids. I would love to start inchie and ATC collections and I am also very interested in mail art. I cannot wait to get more involved with this site!

I think snail mailers are amazing people who somehow haven't lost their desire for tangible relationships with the outside world. Mail is magical again, and I adore that.

I love Broadway most of all but I enjoy listening to just about anything besides scream-o and religious music :)

I LOVE to read. Mostly interesting non-fiction that I randomly find roaming around the library but I love beautiful fiction as well. Lately most of my reading and research has been birth focused, but now that I have had my baby, (an unassisted home waterbirth VBAC :), I am ready to branch out again!

My all time favorite books include: Where the Red Fern Grows, Watchers, Cutting for Stone, Clan of the CaveBear, Water for Elephants, The Time Travelers Wife...

I especially like movies and TV based around Historical non-fiction. I also enjoy comedies, (think along the lines of Will Ferrel movies), and some TV dramas like HOUSE and Dexter. I like reality TV, as long as they aren't based on obnoxious angry people getting drunk and yelling at each other. I loved Carnivale and Dead Like Me and so many other shows that were cancelled too soon :( I mainly watch TV shows on Netflix, as I don't actually have a Television.

For taking the time to read my profile. I solemnly swear to do my very best to participate fairly and to uphold swap requirements and deadlines. I will rate as soon as possible and be grateful for all that I receive :) If you feel that I have not come through for you in some way, please let me know and I will do what I can to remedy the situation ASAP. I do not want any drama here, as that is the one major complaint I consistently hear about this site. This should be fun and stress free for everybody and it's a shame that just a few negative people can ruin the vibe so quickly.

That being said, it is absolutely lovely to postmeet you and I can't wait to swap some more!
