I'm married with 1 young son. We are a military family which offers fantastic opportunities to go new places and meet interesting people. With being a military family we have had and will have lots of chances to go many places. Our first stop was South Dakota, next is Virginia in October.
I have been collecting vintage postcards for years. Some of my most treasured are from 1910-1912 silk fabric embroidered cards from England and France. These were usually sent by GIs during The Great War i.e. WWI. I also love older postcards that show locations and landscapes.
I'm a history buff. World cultures and histories are among my favorite things.
To get specific, the colors I enjoy are blues, all shades and hues and Earth tones in general. Anything related to nature, flora and fauna are always a hit with me. Cats and dogs as pets are also a personal favorite. I also really like vintage images of children and ladies. Anything that is generally happy, pleasant, and lovely.
I'm not particularly religious, so its best not to expect anything of that nature from me, however I can accept things that are more spiritual than religious.
I'm an adult and can respect adult themes, but I do have a toddler around so I try and keep it more along the lines of artistic nudity.
I put a lot of thought and time into each ATC I make. I usually only make one of every kind to keep them unique. I try and incorporate a few different medias into each card. I generally expect the same sort of craftmanship/time/creativity that I put into my card to be in the ones I receive. I have a link above if you are interested to see the ones I have completed.
Preferred medias I use include (but not limited too): scrapbooking paper, cardstock, glitter, buttons, ribbons, gem embellishments, images of all kinds, and random supplies I may have lying around.
I am always willing to swap personally and internationally as I respect the time it takes to ship both ways.

Tin Foil Swap is up. Password is the same. I put the send date as the day before I go to Chicago, if that's okay? I can always edit it.
Do you want to do our Fave Places swap through Swap-bot? I think I figured out how to do it. Help our ratings!
I had to look up "maven." I don't know that I'm all that, but thank you!
