Gunsan

I'll be taking a break from swapping since we're moving the first of june, and than again the 15th of august. I'll be active in the Granting wishes-group through the summer, and will start swapping again i september!

Hi, my name is Gunn but my friends call me Gunsan.

This is me: 26 years old sami-girl from the north of Norway. Love crafting, especially sewing. I'm in Oslo (capital of Norway) for the summer, sticthing all day long in the weekdays and selling my creations at markets in the weekend. My dream is to one day make a living out of it! I just started blogging in english, feel free to stop by and say hi :-)

Beside sewing, I love cooking, hiking, beeing out on/in the sea, working out, reading books. And above all I love my friends and family, and my boyfriend J.

I don't watch much tv, but rather series on DVD. Mad men, Fringe, Dexter, Desperate Housewifes, Band of Brothers.

In random order:

• I'm really into sewing so cotton/linen fabrics with print in bright/light colors (love retro flower/kawaii patterns), cute buttons in pairs, ribbon, trim, bias tape...any vintage sewing supplies in bright/light colors is a big hit!
• Vintage floral pillowcases and sheets (whole or bits and scraps)
• Vintage/thrifted embroidered things as pillowcases, tablecloths, doilies etc. It don't have to be perfect condition since I cut them up and make something new out of them.
• Love vintage tread spoles made of wood!
• Vintage tiny kisslock purses
• Deco tape with pattern or masking tape in solid colors.
• Manila tags in all sizes and colors
• Used/new/thrifted/homemade sewing patterns (purses,bags,baby/children clothing,stuffed animals/softies)
• Vintage Star Wars pillow case
• Freezing paper to make stencils of.
• Wallpaper scaps.
• Cotton yarn
• A4 Iron-on t-shirt transfer sheets
• Marker pen (the kind wich fades away after a short while)
• Cotton webbing (min. 1 yard) in any color
• Tea
• Cute stickers
• Buttons to cover kit

Don't like (not as much don't like as don't need): Wool yarn, dotee, inchies, scrapbooking supplies, dark colors.

I love thrifting and shopping at op-shops, but that doesn't mean I like junk ;-)

Light and bright colors. Pastels. Brown and orange when it's a 70's pattern. Natural colors.

If it's a personal item/handmade for me I especially love pink, purple and yellow.
