I love reading with a passion. There is nothing better than curling up with a good book and letting the rest of the world disappear. My favourite genres are sci-fi and fantasy, but I'll generally give anything a go if it's recommended by a friend.

I'm currrently reading 'Naked in Death' by JD Robb and 'Absolution Gap' by Alastair Reynolds. Awesome stuff.

I don't really listen to music much anymore. The stuff on 'Rage' is mostly rubbish and my own collection is a bit stale and repetitive. It's full of classic rock and musicals. I guess I'm looking for something to pop up and inspire me.

Favourite song of this week is - 'Immortal, Invisible' by Scott Brown.

mmm crafts I love crafts. The joy of receiving something that has been handmade with love is awesome. That might go some way to explain why I hand crafted every one of my 160 wedding invitations and thankyou's (either that or I'm a sucker for punishment) grins

I'm not much of an artist but I like to sew and am learning to embroider at the moment.

I'm an Aussie girl and I worry sometimes that the internet is sucking the life out of humanity. The thoughtfulness of "Swap-Bot" really appeals to me and I look forward to brightening someone's day.

Television - gosh, what an easy way to lose vast stretches of the day. I love heaps of different shows but there are only a few that I'll really go out of my way to see.

Stargate - all of it's incarnations Burn Notice Doctor Who - my favourite Doctor was Tom Baker and his amazing scarf... Grand Designs Top Gear The Vampire Diaries

And of course there's stacks that I quite enjoy too: Fringe, The Dresden Files, Heroes, World's Greenest Homes, Nigella Express, Blackadder, Antiques Roadshow, Life On Mars, 24, House, Bones, Castle...

The list could go on and on...
